At BLD we strive to achieve our fundamental aim of highlighting and promoting diversity within the legal profession in a multitude of ways, including:

• Our community-driven national Legal Gateway Scheme, which is designed to make a difference and raise aspirations as well as target underprivileged young people with aspirations to become lawyers. The entire scheme has now been transferred and is now run by  BLD Foundation. • Publication of the annual ground-breaking Black Letter Law publication, which showcases the achievements of ethnic minorities within the legal profession - from partners at the top UK 100 law firms, General Counsel and Professors of Law, to judges and Queen’s Counsel (QCs).
