Ethnic Minority Judges

In our ground-breaking Black Letter Law 2007 we profiled black minority ethnic members of the judiciary. Some of our judges are also Queen's Counsels (QCs). There is currently no single black minority ethnic judge in the House of Lords or the Court of Appeal. Mrs Justice Dobbs was the first in October 2004 and, so far, the only black minority ethnic judge in the High Court. Please contact us with any information you may have to ensure that we keep our information accurate,  comprehensive and up to date.
