The Legal Gateway Scheme
All our career development opportunities, such as mentoring, workshops and events, fall within our Legal Gateway Scheme.
The Scheme is for the benefit of lawyers, trainees, pupils, paralegal, undergraduates and postgraduates considering or pursuing legal careers. We also provide access to career development opportunities for schoolchildren and others considering or pursuing a legal career.
The two new schemes that we are introducing, starting from January 2008, are:
Whilst BLD is owned by Totally Management Ltd, a company limited by shares, it has social aims and objectives. Registration and listing in BLD is free to lawyers in England and Wales to ensure that it is inclusive and does not exclude any individual or organisation, particularly on financial grounds. This is necessary in order to achieve our primary aim of promoting and highlighting diversity and creating an online community.
