WELCOME TO BLD'S NEWSLETTER
Welcome to our August 2006 newsletter. It is yet another exciting month here at BLD as we are delighted to welcome on board DLA Piper, Shoosmiths and the College of Law as our new Platinum sponsors. DLA Piper has also made available to BLD all their UK offices for any of our events and they are further sponsoring the free BLD Work Placement and Training Contract Workshops in November (see below under Jobs and Careers for further information).
We had our second network event in Birmingham on the 13th of July, which was generously sponsored by Wragge & Co. Our preparations for our Black History Month Event sponsored by Clifford Chance are in full swings and Allen & Overy has also agreed to sponsor a BLD event early next year, so watch this space!
