WELCOME TO BLD'S NEWSLETTER
Welcome to our September 2006 newsletter. We are delighted that the Commission for Racial Equality (CRE) Legal Directorate, in association with the Black Lawyers Directory is producing a publication on the historical presence of Black and Minority Ethnic people in the legal profession. The publication will include an historical look at the involvement of Black and Minority Ethnic people in the legal profession over the years. It would also include details of whom these people were, what communities they came from, what they did and their achievements as well as their presence in the judiciary and in the higher echelons of the profession. The launch of the publication is planned to coincide with our October Black History Month event on the 5th October 2006, sponsored by Clifford Chance.
It is not too late to book your free place at the
