BLD and the Association of Women Solicitors (AWS) are holding the above event which is generously sponsored by the Magic circle law firm, Slaughter & May on Thursday the 5th July 2007.
Many of us shy away from networking at all or do not do it effectively. At this event you will find out why you should network, how to network and you will have an opportunity to speed network. The event provides an excellent opportunity to practice what you have learnt!

You will hear from Debo Nwauzu, the founder and Managing Director of BLD and Susha Chandrasekhar, the Chair of the AWS. The main speakers at the event will be:
Rosalyn Breedy
Rosalyn Breedy is the General Counsel of Sand Aire Limited, a multi- family office specialising in strategic wealth management for families, trusts and charities. Rosalyn read Philosophy at Bristol University and was previously at UBS Warburg and Slaughter & May. She is a former Board Director of the Internet Law and Policy Forum.
Rosalyn will speak about the importance of networking and how this has helped her career. 
Meena Heath 
Meena trained as a solicitor with Slaughter & May and was subsequently with Alsop Wilkinson before setting up her own firm. For the last eight years, she has been a business development consultant and director of Genesis Coordination, advising lawyers, both in private practice and in house, on strategic management and business development. Meena, who read Sanskrit at Somerville College, Oxford is widely considered by the legal market to be one of the experts on client relationship management and has written extensively on pitching for work, setting up panels and managing client relationships. She is also an executive coach, coaching Managing Partners and Department Heads in law firms, accountancy practices and consultancies.
Meena will speak about how to network and network effectively.
