BLD is running a training session for mentors and mentees on Thursday 13 September 2007 which will be facilitated by the Learning and Development department at Herbert Smith LLP.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This training is targeted at those who are already BLD mentors or mentees and those who have already completed an application form to be a mentor or a mentee. If you do not fall into either of these categories but wish to attend, please download an application form for a mentor or a mentee and email this to mentoring@onlineBLD.com and then book your place.
KEY TRAINING AREAS/WHAT YOU WILL GAIN
The key areas that will be covered are:
- The scope and role of a mentor and a mentee
- The Key skills required to build an effective mentoring relationship
- Potential issues to be discussed during the mentoring session
- An overview of BLD's mentoring guidelines & procedures
The training session will also provide an opportunity for mentors and mentees to meet and share their experiences and expectations of mentoring.
